Chakshu utilizes a molecule which predictably and consistently allows a chelating agent to pass through membranes. Formulating these molecules in an eyedrop introduces Regional Chelation Therapy; allowing the active agent to enter all parts of the eye. Chelation then repairs tissue damage by removing the binding chemical element which has formed aggregates and resulted in tissue damage. At the same time, it removes the catalyst for oxidative stress; reducing the progression of the disease.
